Classes and Workshops Hebrew 201: Deepening Liturgy, Finding Comfort with Hebrew Prayer

Hebrew 201: Deepening Liturgy, Finding Comfort with Hebrew Prayer

$0.00

Ritual Maven Marilyn Heiss

Hebrew is our source language, with the words and phrases we sing out in prayer. Many of us may be able to read the words haltingly, but without knowing their meaning and intention. This class involves the practice reading of prayers and blessings while gaining vocabulary and grammar basics to help increase comprehension of the prayers. We use the Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat service as our textbook to bring immediate connection.
