Bedtime getting in the way of your Shabbat? Kitchen Playground (formerly Moms + Dads) is a group of mothers and fathers with kids five and under, coming together to build community and grow Jewishly.
Feel free to come before services, hang out with other Kitchen parents and families, and get some shabbat in before your kids turn into pumpkins. Don’t forget to bring food for your early diners. Together we'll support, eat, and maybe tap into some Jew-ified parental wisdom that goes way beyond the healing powers of good matzah ball soup.
Also? We have a lot of great programming coming your way this spring. Check it all out:

Gather with Kitchen Playground kids (~0-6 years old) and their grown-ups once a month on Shabbat morning for a free monthly family music experience with Kiki Lipsett. Kiki is a musician, teacher, Jewish educator, and all-around warm presence. She will be leading a meaningful and fun 45-minute session that incorporates stories, lively and easy to learn songs, rhymes, and movement. Every session, we’ll meet at the Friends School and start at 10:30am - and hope you’ll hang around for Shabbat lunch (starts ~12:00)!
Baby/Young Toddler Meet-Up
We are hoping to start a regular Kitchen Playground meet-up for kids 0-2, and any adult that wants to come along and hang out with them. If you are interested in being part of this group (or working with Joel to get this off the ground) e-mail Family Educator Joeland let him know!
